I get so many questions about "What do I eat?" from folks so this webinar on Demystifying Dangerous Diet Culture is a good place to begin.
It's also IMPERATIVE that we begin a NEW CONVERSATION about the dangers of Diet culture (and what to do instead).
You see, I remember well when the Zone Diet, South Beach, Jenny Craig and Weight Watchers were big deals for people.
Clearly they are not anymore.
And before you say, wait, "weight watchers" really helped me at my family, Renee. My response to that is, awesome, I'm so glad to hear that.
However, there are so many issues with the culture around these "diets" that have hurt us, have hurt humanity. In fact, Weight Watchers just dropped "weight" from it's name and is "rebranding" itself.
I'm not just picking on weight watchers, by the way.
I'm talking about the Diet Industry as a whole.
I also see so much body shaming happening to people through our societal ideals and things like "drink shakes every day to lose weight".
This stuff concerns me because dieting does not work for long term health success. There is a lot of science to back this up.
So then this leads us to HOW... How do we know what to eat?
Some might argue that Vegan, Paleo, Keto or Plant Based isn't a diet. They might say, "Renee, it's a lifestyle, it's a way of life..."
I won't argue with that, these ways of eating certainly can be lifestyles... but most of these diet trends exist because people are fearful of death.
Yes. These diets exists to fight the fear we have of dying or in some cases the earth dying...
I know that is a pretty deep concept but so is this culture of dieting, especially in the United States.
It's mostly based on FEAR and it has not helped many people, considering we have a health epidemic with people currently.
I won't go into a a ton of detail here (I'm going to save it for the webinar however, I do want to say that I personally have lived a Vegan lifestyle. I have lived a plant based lifestyle. I have put my body in Ketosis on many occasions in the past 9 years and I have explored and participated in a Paleo style of consuming food as well.
Logically, I could make solid arguments for each of these eating decisions.
Some of them are political.
Some of them are biological.
Some are personal.
Some are environmental.
Bottom line... I will not be "selling" you on just one way, I will be helping you find YOUR WAY.
I will also be helping you to take action to choose a way and stick to it.
Remember, food helps you transform into the person you want to be.
We are what we eat.
Is it not the dream of humanity to have so many choices and freedom to choose how we want to live?
Yes.
It can also be a detriment... too many choices leads to resistance, decision fatigue and not doing anything at all. It can lead to mindless consumption and eating disorders of all kinds.
There are going to be a lot of health practitioners out there that will try convince you on why going Vegan, Paleo, Keto or Plant Based is the only way.
Based on their beliefs, they will try to convince you. That's okay for them.
I am not that practitioner.
NOT ONE BODY IS LIKE ANOTHER BODY.
You are unique and my job is to help you figure out what works best for your body, right now, and to show you how to find healing where you might be currently stuck.

I want to be upfront, I'm taking applications for My Nutrition 360 Coaching Circle and this webinar will give a you ton of value - it will not be a sales pitch the entire time. I will also be giving great insight into the program and the results from past clients (mostly toward the end of the webinar) so you can make an informed decision on whether or not to apply to be part of it. It is an application process because I do not work with everyone in this coaching circle.
Thank you,
Renee
