What you might not know about me is that I used to sell knives for a living. I was responsible for just over a couple of million dollars worth of knife sales and it allowed me to travel and adventure all around the world in my twenties and speak with and connect with so many people.
One of the other things it inspired me to do was to question myself … and it’s why I hired my first life coach over 20 years ago. I eventually got into the professional industry of coaching, mentoring, and showing others how to more effectively lead themselves. This was not my plan, I planned on other things. This profession chose me and then I needed to learn to choose it back.
I take my profession and business very seriously and I’ll be honest, I didn’t like what I saw in the coaching industry for a while (I still don’t always) and I held shame around telling people what I did for many years.
Then, I decided that it was part of my role to be part of the solution and own the dark side of me who was afraid.
My team and I create experiences that change people’s lives in this company. (when they say yes).
I work with people around health, nutrition, relationships, body, lifestyle, purpose/career alignment.
Tomorrow, I’m going to be sharing a tool with you that I created for my clients. I decided to give it away. Watch my stories for that.
Today: A friendly reminder for me, you, and all of us on the power of questioning yourself. It doesn’t matter what you do for a living, how much time you have or don’t have or what profession you have or the number in your bank account, these questions are universal and every single person must be questioning themself in order to evolve and look back on 2022 and see that the change they wanted as well as their big goals actually happened.
For example, here are some of the roles of the people who have hired me in the past 6 months:
- Shamanic healer in their 70’s
- CEO of a well known, highly profitable company
- Nurse (40-year veteran)
- Financial industry folks
- Authors and business leaders
- Creative marketers
- People transitioning their career or relationships
- Coaches and therapists
- Harvard trained psychotherapist
- CEO of a half a billion-dollar company
- Nutritionists and health workers
- Mothers starting new businesses
- A 17-year-old person on the spectrum struggling with sexual identity and eating
- I work with Liberals, Conservatives, Libertarians, those choosing to vax, those choosing not to Vax, and everything in between.
I like to specialize in working with people who don’t make common sense.
They were all willing and open to questioning themselves.
They are the outliers, unique and mysterious folk who are not afraid to explore their darker side and also want to make a big impact in life. In fact, they may even instinctually understand that by looking into it, it may unlock their greatest potential and that is why they are afraid to go there.
They want more success in certain areas of life and yet they are blocked.
What are you broadcasting to the world that you don’t even know you are broadcasting?
Energy speaks louder than words. Yes, energy. It’s not a popular topic for clicks… it appears too broad or hippie or spiritual.
This is not new-age fluff.
Energy is, without a doubt, the very foundation of the universe.
We are emitting a signal and it’s giving us what we see around us. I know this from a wealth of very deep experiences that forced me into exploring my own dark side.
The people who hire me are requiring a new management system for certain areas of their life or they are at a crossroads. Maybe they haven’t found their purpose, feel out of control with food or body, or lack the relationship/leadership skills to evolve in their current position in life.
But mostly, they can sense that there is something more and they don’t want to get to the end of their life knowing they didn’t allow themselves to go there.
I invite you to understand the dark shadow that lives within you so that you may bring it to the light and find wholeness with yourself.
We can begin this by questioning ourselves.
The intent is to know All of ourselves.
Otherwise, what we don’t know will control us.
If you don’t respect the blade, it will cut you. (In honor of my old knife selling days).
If we don’t do this work, our soul’s work, we will create a life where we unconsciously (or consciously) live a life of fear, isolation, and avoidance and without real connection with others.
This will eventually lead to more physical body sickness.
It’s not just about the food we put in our mouth, it’s about how you allow yourself to feel your feelings, walk this life experience in your physical body and manage your thinking and beliefs around all of it.
Tomorrow, I’m going to be posting some powerful questions… which are actually part 1 of the Inner Power Sessions (a template I created for my clients).
I have decided to gift THE INNER POWER QUESTIONS to everyone and I will be sharing that tomorrow, check my stories.
So stay tuned for that. Here is one to get you started:
What belief am I committing to acting on in my life right now?
PS. This is the clearest I’ve been able to describe, to date, my method of coaching that helps so many unique people. It’s not always been easy to put into words what I do when I work with people. I am pleased to share this with you. If it feels aligned and you want to chat, click here to apply and get on my calendar.
According to one client, “it is your attention to detail, combined with your capacity to see the big picture for me, that makes you a superb coach.”
Here is my superpower: I help you break it down, dissect the problem, uncover the solution, and restore the situation to functional status. One of my mentors called it my super-human ability to notice every detail, analyze integrity, organize, put things into alignment, heal, and address what’s most real for the client while also using my intuitive senses.
