What would it be like if you could achieve the things that you want to more easily that you expected?
Seriously… there are some moments when my soul feels so stretched, pushed and pulled. Let’s just say that the last two weeks were exactly that. Yep, growth, evolution… the whole thing. Call it Mercury Retrograde or whatever… it’s been cozy at times and crazy uncomfortable.
I want to remind you what happens when you ask for personal growth… you get it when you open yourself up to the change. Um… change being the key.
I have 4 ways to fuel yourself on your path to loving yourself more every day below, but before I get to that… I gotta share this.
I’ve seen myself evolve as a mom, woman and entrepreneur at record speeds, especially in the past 3 years and if there is one constant in living the life you absolutely desire is this: CHANGE.
Change is constant. A universal law is uncertainty and you best get yourself right with being uncertain. Trying to control everything just won’t work… unless you want to be going around and around on the hamster wheel feeling like you’re doing the same thing over and over again. We all want change. Some want to change their body, their food, their job, their spouse, their relationships or home… But when it comes down to it… you need to change YOU. That “internal” you. It’s time to do the work on your Inner Game, my dear friend and if you already have, I challenge you to open up a bit more this week. It’s time.
I’m going to share the 4 ways to fuel yourself and change your inner game on your path to wholeness and loving your body and food.

Your frame. It’s your frame of reference… It’s the beliefs you have about your life, your body and self… It’s you feeling like you’re “not there yet”. Because of this, you may be always striving, reaching, trying to find the next thing, searching for the new way to heal your body or change your body. This inherent belief is that you are broken and you need something “out there” to be happy, in love, healthy, successful, at peace, etc.
You might be asking, so if I’m not broken then why do I need to change, like you said before..? The change I’m talking about… isn’t you trying to change the people and situations around you and outside of you. It’s INTERNAL change. You are already there. You’ve already arrived and the answer is inside.
The difference of these two frames is very subtle and the basis of my private and group coaching programs. It’s necessary.
Food and Care. Food is a fuel. It’s about the kind of foods as well as your enjoyment in consuming them. Food, in my opinion is one of our greatest acts self care. You are what you eat makes sense because our cells are affected positively when we feed them a wide range of colorful, whole foods while giving those cells oxygen from deep breathing and lots of water. Your focus is to evolve your energy around food and your practices and rituals around consuming it. Be empowered to make different choices. Sometimes we need help doing this if we feel stuck because of #1 (see above) frames.
Awareness practice. This is fuel for your cells and a practice for calming your mind. Resting quietly allows you to process your problems. Your cells are affected by stress so calming down the body through meditation and breathing tells your body that it’s okay to relax. On the contrary, stress tells your body to store fat and essentially gain weight.
Mind fuel. What and whom you surround yourself with is immensely important. There are relationships that drain you or lift you up. There is music that inspires or brings you down. What do you read? Listen to? How you move your body affects the state of mind you have. Are you surrounded with clutter or clarity with clean space? Do you move your body daily? You must be purposeful with what you allow into your mind. Notice I said, what you allow. I want you to empower you to choose this daily.
