Are you one of those people who tentatively and timidly opens your gift, taking your time so you can reuse the paper and bow?
Or… are you one of those people who tears it open with passion and enthusiasm, holding onto every single moment while you anticipate the lovely gift you were given?
This video has nothing to do with actual gift wrap and bows but it does have to do with the the month of December. A time when it’s pretty easy to get bogged down in the stress, end of the year “I should have done this” and worry that you won’t get it all done or worse yet repeat the same bad habits you’ve been so good at recently.
It’s pretty easy to feel stuck and tightly wound up this time of year (like the string around your gift). I know you might be filled up with doubt and confusion although you put a smile on your face and pretend like the best Academy Award nominee. You feel held back about your health, weight and self improvement… now isn’t the right time, I’ll wait until after the holidays and when I have so more money in the bank. Maybe if I lose some weight first, then I’ll have a head start and then I’ll be ready.
The truth is this: you are looking outside yourself for reasons on why you aren’t achieving what you want in your health and life and the place to look is not outside, but inside.
You may be allowing fear to control you (and you don’t even realize it)
The month of December is going to be about naughty, nice, treats, rebirth, gratitude, giving, love, openness, learning and a whole bunch of other stuff about that “fear stuff” that you need to know so that you can start off the year with purpose and trust.
Watch today’s video for 3 simple tips to get started. Come on, rip open your present and let’s reveal some gifts versus saving that paper for next year.
